This site is a personal photography site, made and maintained by Emilie Wood.
The site was started on the 6th of February 2005, with the aim of posting one photograph everyday - well at least I am doing my best to do so!
Each day is a unique event that will never be repeated. Even if I were to take a picture of the same landscape everyday, or even every hour, each photograph would be unique. While I am not going to do this (I would not want you to get bored!) I want to try and capture something of the uniqueness of each day and share what I see and feel with you.
Additional rule: the photograph must have been taken on the day it is posted - if not then I will indicate so in the post.
About the title of this blog
The blog's title, "My little corner of the sky," was inspired by a song from the musical "Pippin." Here is how the song starts:

I have felt for a long time that I was not fiting in anywhere I went, but I think that I have finally found my little corner of the sky now. That's also what has made me want to start this site.
