vineyards

More vineyards near where my mum lives.

There was a beautiful light coming from behind this white horse, while he was walking towards us, eager for attention.

This afternoon was especially beautiful and sunny - so me, my mum and my grandparents went for a walk by this artificial lake.

Here is a close up of the reflections on the water.

It’s been raining a lot in the past couple of days. My cat is not liking this

This is an avocado tree - of all things - that my mym has been growing from a seed in a pot in her kitchen. The morning light was reflecting very beautifully on the leaves.

My last gaze at the Brighton sky that has been mine for nearly a year, yesterday morning, at 7 AM.
One year minus 3 days after moving to Brighton, I took the plane away from the place that I have loved so much, for an unknown period of time.
How strange - I had come to Brighton with the idea of settling down for once, spending my whole life there, raising a family one day… Instead, I haven’t even spent a full year - yes but what a year it has been. It could as well have been a lifetime so full it was with emotions, life changing experiences, discoveries, some good and some bad.
Maybe I’ll come back one day, maybe I won’t. I don’t know yet and don’t want to decide.
But whatever happens I’ll always have a special place in my heart for this town, all the people I’ve met, all the great things I’ve discovered there.
And if I do come back, I will not mind if things are a little less eventful, a bit more peaceful, so that I can cope with staying for many more years.
My little corner of the sky might have changed location but it is not going away. Soon more photos will come.
Thanks for keeping in touch!

I love how this imaginary crab is coming out of the frame…

My last day in Paris. The sun came out. At last!

I’ve never seen Paris so grey and polluted but thankfully we have the nice colours of the automn leaves to liven up things.

Two Pigeons by the fountain on La Place de L’Hotel de Ville.

The best thing for me about Paris is, of course, my family. Here is little 2 years old Mila washing her hands all by herself.
Tomorrow I am off to Paris for a week. Let’s see if I can capture October in Paris - something a bit like the Francis Cabrel’s song, “Octobre” (one of my favourites) “Le vent fera craquer les branches… La brume viendra dans sa robe blanche…”
